130m² Homestay for 3 people

We offer a spare bedroom in a very spacious, bright and familial duplex, furnished with a bed, a desk and and storage spaces. We are located at 5 minutes walking distance from the very nice park Montsouris and the great bars of Butte aux Cailles' quarter. All the shops are less than 1minute walking: Bakeries, Pharmacy, various Supermarkets, Cinemas, Bars, Brasseries, Restaurants etc. Close to all public transportation, 250 meters from Alesia metro station, Line 4, RER B. You are very welcome to visit us!
Just to clarify, this is a room for rent in our family home, not a shared flat or co-living arrangement. You would be renting a private 10m² bedroom within our house, which remains a family home.
I live and work in this 130m² house with my wonderful 20-year-old twins, our 5kg little dog, and two other very discreet and kind students who each rent a room. The house is spread over two floors (I can send you a video by email if you’d like). I have my own private space on the first floor.
Access to common areas is limited. The shared spaces include:
The bathroom on the second floor
The kitchen area (open to the living room and my office)
Please note that access to the kitchen is at specific times, as it is located in the same open space where I work. I also need the space around 8 p.m. to prepare dinner for my children and to spend family time with them. Of course, schedules can be arranged respectfully in advance. Outside of kitchen use, the rest of the house remains private family space.
In general, everything runs very smoothly, and everyone has their own routine. The other students often eat outside or in their rooms while studying or watching a series. Everyone has a reserved space in the refrigerator.
