- 12th arrondissement: lively, with good value for money around Bercy and Nation. Easy to reach via metro line 6 or the RER C.
- 5th arrondissement: the Latin Quarter, the ultimate student neighbourhood, just a few stops away on line 7 from Place d'Italie. Rents are higher, but it's a dream address.
- 11th arrondissement: vibrant, with a strong local vibe and rents around the Paris average. Served by metro lines 5 and 9.
